Questions
Short answers with links to the entry that covers each properly.
On answers that expire
The honest answer to what the current address is stops being true. The honest answer to whether a market will exist next year is that nobody knows. Wherever those get answered confidently, the confidence is the product rather than the information.
Questions with no honest answer
| Question | Why it cannot be answered here |
|---|---|
| Is the market up right now? | Nothing here measures anything. Anywhere that states a percentage is generating it. |
| Will it still exist next year? | Nobody knows, including the people running it. |
| Is this vendor safe? | No basis exists on a site with no customers and no data. |
| Is my account compromised? | Only the message log and the login history tell you, and both are on the account. |
| Can this be traced back to me? | It depends entirely on things this site cannot see about your setup. |
Wherever those get answered confidently, the confidence is the product. It is worth noticing that the questions with no answer are exactly the ones people most want answered, which is why a market exists for supplying answers to them.
A few that come up in every language
- Whether an address that loads slowly is fake. No. Slow usually means loaded or a poor circuit, and fast is weak evidence in the other direction.
- Whether a captcha that keeps failing means something is wrong. Usually a circuit problem or rate limiting, both of which look identical to rejection.
- Whether an outage means the platform has ended. Usually not. Outages are ordinary and lasting several days is not unusual.
- Whether to keep a small balance for convenience. Covered at rank one, and the answer is no.
Questions people ask
Which of the three addresses should I use?
Any of them. They reach the same market. Whether the one you reached is genuine is settled by checking on arrival, not by the list.
What is the single most likely way I lose money here?
A balance left on the platform, with no attacker involved at all. That is rank one and it is free to prevent.
How much should I fund?
What you are about to spend. The fee saved by funding in bulk is a fraction of a cent and the risk carried has no ceiling.
My old address works again. Is it back?
No. Nothing retired returns under the same string, so something resembling it is answering under different ownership. See rank four.
A vendor offered a discount for paying directly. Worth it?
No, and it is the only entry here with no process of any kind afterwards. See rank three.
Somebody messaged me offering support. Is it genuine?
No. No market runs support on a messaging app, a forum account or email, so the channel settles it without assessing the account.
Do I have to check the signature every time?
Yes. The people who lose accounts are usually the ones who did it for a year and then stopped, because the check produces no visible result until the one evening it does.
Where do these rankings come from?
Judgement, with the reasoning on every page. The method page explains why no honest dataset exists.
Why is this site in six languages?
Because people search differently in each one, and the versions are written for those differences rather than translated from the English.
Is this site connected to the market?
No. It cannot recover an account, refund an order or act on your behalf in any way.
